Based on the trusted Admiral 40 molds, the Celtic 40 carries forward a proven legacy of strength, balance, and quality craftsmanship with several owners completing their circumnavigations. 

Built by Celtic Yachts, who acquired the Admiral 38/40 molds in 2011, these vessels are renowned for their durability, thoughtful design, and strong sailing performance. Constructed using vacuum-bagged, resin-infused sandwich core, the Celtic 40 is a lightweight yet robust catamaran designed to circumnavigate the globe without compromising comfort or safety.

Waxys systems were designed to allow her owners full off-grid capability and reportedly never needs to go on shore power. Perhaps the most stand out feature is the access to the engines from inside the vessel with a large amount of space to inspect and service the engine safely, easily and in air conditioning which is not common on a 40ft catamaran.
